Production - Reviewing Footage

These screen shots are to show us reviewing our footage in class today. Altogether we have 95 pieces of footages with the majority being base tracks and the others being cut away shots. However, we do have some footages that we will not be using because the camera was unstable or the lighting wasn't suitable.

From reviewing this, we realised that 'encirclement' is a reoccuring theme within our clips. We have 360 degree shots from every location and the location we shot at such as the arches in limehouse, the stairs and the barriers in Greenwich all convey a sense entrapment representing the 'cycle of life' and how it can't be escaped.

Also, during the lesson we watched every clip and renamed them to according to whether we will definitely use them or not. With the renaming clips that we won't be using, we will be using them to make a blooper to show the difficulties we have encountered.
Lastly, looking over the 'falling' shots that we filmed, we realised that we needed to film more of those on Thursday where James is wearing his casual clothing. We filmed really good shots of the falling scene where James is in his suit however, we will not be using them because we do not have any more footage where James is dressed formally.

As a result, we will be doing extra shots of the falling scene on Thursday's lesson. After that, we can start editing!
