Risk Assessment
While using the equipment in our chosen locations there will be many risks and cautions we have to be aware of. For instance when crossing the roads we will have to look out for incoming cars or people, making sure the equipment is in our reach and not in any sort of risk of being stolen or damaged. Filming, we will have to get permission to film in places that are of high security, for example the 02 Arena. To minimise dangers such as dropping equipment, losing, or damaging, we will set a rota for each member of the group to look after the equipment. Also when we are out every hour we are out we will do a list check of the equipment we have brought out. This will ensure that we will be organised and keep secure of what we have and what we will do during our time of filming.
Dangers that we could come across is mainly damaging the equipment and not looking after it the way we should or if it rains, however we will minimise this by keeping the equipment in there packaging when not using it, when using it we will take care in what we do, be cautious of where we go and taking an umbrella to prevent the equipment from being exposed to water. Going to and from places there will be many risks, to avoid this we will have to be very careful with the equipment, ensuring nothing will be damaged.
Also we must be wary when filming during the evening as it gets dark, to make sure we take everything we brought with us and to get home safely with the equipment.
