Pitch - Question 3

For our music video the artist we have chosen is James. We chose  to have the sophisticated look, 'suited and booted'. Our artist will wear a suit, but also in some scenes formal-casual clothing preferably dark colours. We chose this because we thought thats the only look that will give the effect we want to, which was the fact that our artist has a life that is successful physically but mentally its a total mess, we didn't want to show our artist in clothing that will give the obvious fact that he is stressed and mad (which realistically the clothing will be like a straight jacket). The clothing choice was inspired by Chase and status, Wretch 32 and Tinie Tempah seen as they all situate themselves in dark clothing, however Chase and Status are the type to wear suits and funky hats (which we felt  not to include).
This image can connect to any audience. Those who work, those who go to school, adults, teenagers are all included in the wider audience as the clothing worn will be the of clothing everyone, well every man has worn in their lives, as it is a range of clothing from casual to sophisticated. However we want our artist to differ from these three examples with the way in which we dress our artist and how the levels of clothing can make a difference to the music video.
