Planning - Dub-step Expectations

Once we finalized our chosen song for our music video. I felt that it was best to ask people of different ages about the dub-step genre and what they expect to see when they think of a dub-step music video. I asked friends, family and a few random people in college and out of college. The ages ranged from 16-32 year-old's.

The most popular expectation was 'colourful', 'heavy-editing' and 'lights' which came from most of the younger people that I asked. The 'upbeat' and 'movement' came from more of the other age group that I asked. Most people however agreed that dub-step music videos have a "British vibe" to them which does make sense as Dub-step did originate from South London.
