Music Video Remake AS

Remake of Hey Ya! - Outcast

 This is the music video that we were able to produce at the end of the AS year as a starter project to familiarise ourself with the whole concept of a music video and how they are produced. I learned about filming base tracks and how to edit them in final cut pro.

Here are both strong and weak technical aspects from this remake:

Strengths:
1) The performer was very enthusiastic and therefore made the video better to watch
2) We used different base tracks
3) We edited according to the beat in the song which made the video look better

Weaknesses:
1) The lighting is not very good
2) Lacks shot types such as close ups
3) There is not much going on, therefore will not engage or entertrain the viewer
4) Some of our shots were not shot correctly

The task was very helpful and was an eye opener as to what we would have to produce in A2 and we also really enjoyed filming it.
