Technical skills developed from AS

I have developed many skills throughout my AS media year from the different aspects of making, editing, filming and working with sound.

 Skills that I have learnt:

- Editing on Final Cut Pro

- Importing/Exporting work to and from Final Cut Pro

- Converting the video using MPEG StreamClip

- Adding transitions and effects on Final Cut Pro

- Creating foley sounds using the camera

- Adding foley sounds and instrumentals using SoundTrack Pro

- Using the tripod to film 

- Filming from different angles and perspectives

As well as technical skills I have also learnt practical skills that has developed my knowledge on how to film effectively. This includes ensuring that I have filmed more than enough footage for any video, to plan in detail and effectively and most importantly to take into consideration the lighting of the location so that the end result of the video is not too light or too dark.

I was unable to find the music video remake that was produced in june on the blog from last year.

However, some strengths and weaknesses of it that I can remember are:

Weaknesses: 

- To ensure that the camera is balanced

- To ensure that the lighting is appropriate

- To use base tracks

Strengths:

- The performance was of a good standard and the actors were comfortable on camera

- The lip syncing was edited accurately

- The cutting of each clip was fairly accurate
